Mentoring & Teaching

As an accredited flumie teacher, David offers workshops and training for all levels of gong players. Flumies are such an important part of playing a sound or sound healing bath. With the correct choice of flumie and the right techniques you can bring out a whole new array of sounds from your gongs. Workshops are done from my home in Derbyshire. We offer 1-2-1 training or small groups. It is paramount to keep classes small to enable the maximum amount of playing time to hone the skills required. We have an array of gongs and flumies to play, but feel free to bring your own instruments if you prefer. Simply contact us with what experience you wish to gain and a workshop will be tailored to your needs. I hear all too often of people paying for expensive  Gong Master type training with huge numbers on a course and very little practical playing time. I see that more as money making rather than real hands on valued training.

We also offer gong training, again, for all levels of players. Chesterfield has great rail access for those who prefer not to drive and we are more than happy to collect you from the station.
